Mr. Elliott Corbin

I started practicing taekwondo at 2 years old and have been training for 13 years. I earned my black belt at 11 years old. I officially started as a junior instructor 7 years ago. I teach all age groups. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the kids grow in confidence, effort, and enthusiasm. I also enjoy watching them overcome hard things and helping them not give up when they feel scared to try new things. I have been competing  in taekwondo at a national  and international level for 9 years. I have won 4 national championships, made 3 national teams, and won bronze at the U.S open. Other things I like to besides taekwondo are playing basketball, doing magic, and collecting sports cards.

Mr. Taj (2nd Dan)

I began Taekwondo in October of 2015 and at the start of 2019 I became a Junior Instructor. Within Taekwondo I greatly enjoy Olympic Style Sparring. Specifically I love the complexity of the game and using your own skills to manipulate what your opponent will do. Moreover as a Junior Instructor, I’ve had the pleasure to meet an abundance of students and watch them grow in their confidence and skills. While not every student stays, I want each one to leave a little more positive about themselves and their abilities. Throughout my competitive journey I’ve made some accomplishments including earning bronze at both 2023 AAU Nationals and Team Trials. Moreover I earned bronze at 2024 ATU Nationals, 2025 AAU Combat Games, and 2025 USAT Season Final. Most recently I qualified and competed at the 2026 USAT Team Trials and earned bronze at the 2026 Canada Open. Within Taekwondo my goal is to make the USATKD National Team and earn the opportunity to compete internationally.  During my free time, other than Taekwondo I have a few hobbies. I enjoy playing violin, skiing, hiking/trail running, and building LEGO MOCs (My Own Creation) as well as entering LEGO MOC competitions.

Ms. Nicole Roberts (2nd Dan)

Hello! My name is Ms. Nicole,

I have been doing taekwondo for almost 12 years now and have been a Jr. Instructor for 9. I love competing and junior instructing. Watching people grow into more confident and capable versions of themselves is my favorite part of junior instructing. I earned my 2nd Dan in 2023. I have competed at the U.S. Open and won a bronze medal. I have competed in 11 Nationals and got the opportunity to compete at AAU Team Trials by winning a silver medal at AAU Nationals. I have also placed at ATU Nationals and have been to training camps across the country and in Canada.

In my free time I love to bake and cook for others. I also volunteer with Saint Anthony's church. While taekwondo is my main sport, I also wrestle for Big Sky High School and I love to spend my time outdoors with my two cats.

Ms. Cassidy Schelvan

I started taekwondo when I was 7 years old, and since then it’s been the biggest passion in my life. I have won a bronze medal at AAU Nationals, ATU Nationals, and at AAU Team Trials and I am the lead instructor for our program at the YMCA. Being a martial artist has helped me become a strong, confident leader and I love watching others grow in their journey and become leaders as well. I love going to taekwondo every day and love my team at Championship Training. I plan on carrying the skills I've learned through taekwondo into every aspect of my life, no matter where I am or what I am doing. I am so thankful for taekwondo and everything it has done for me. Outside of taekwondo, I enjoy playing music of a variety of instruments, such as piano and violin. I also am in FFA and 4-H, raise livestock and love agriculture.

Mr. Brody

Brody began Taekwondo with Championship Training in 2016. He became a Junior Instructor around 2020. Brody enjoys being a motivating, tough, supportive example of rigorous but relaxed practice for students. Brody’s achievements include joining the advanced TKD class as a senior green belt, becoming a black belt at age 11, and being able to do 100 push ups without stopping. He's also proud of running three miles in 26 minutes, winning two Montana state TKD championships, and winning best male athlete of the 2018 BSMA championship. When not practicing TKD, Brody enjoys violin, wrestling, swimming, boxing, golf, basketball, exercise, sports in general, and collecting. In TKD, Brody’s working toward his second dan. He'd like to win additional state championships, continue gaining strength and speed, and become a better teacher.

Mr. Brij

I started taekwondo at five years old and I have been doing taekwondo for nine or ten years. When I started Taekwondo I was terrible, it took me around an entire year for me to learn my first poomsae! Throughout my years in taekwondo I have competed at AAU Nationals, USAT Nationals, ATU Nationals, the Canadian Open and the US Open with our competition team, among a lot of local tournaments as well. In 2023 I got third place at AAU Nationals and received a bronze medal. When I am not training with my team or helping instruct classes, I spend my time tucked in a corner reading books, playing guitar, and playing with my dog Hobbes.  In the winter I love to ski at snowbowl. Currently my goal is to win gold at an international tournament.

Ms. Aanya

I started TKD when I was 4 years old and I started junior instructing when I was 9 in 2023. Helping to teach students has brought me joy, especially when I see them achieve or overcome something they have been struggling with. I compete in olympic style sparring and am on our gym’s competition team. In 2024 I won gold at AAU Nationals as a red belt and this year competed in my first international tournament. In my free time I can be found playing the violin, skiing at snowbowl, drawing, or reading. My main goal is to qualify for Team Trials and I look forward to seeing students learn and grow in the gym.
